A health worker helps 12-year-old Monel steady himself on newly issued crutches, at a field hospital set up after the earthquake, at the airport in Port-au-Prince, the capital. Monel is recovering from a leg injury suffered during the quake and has just reunited with his aunt. They were separated for more than a month before being reunited with the support of UNICEF partner and international NGO Heartland Alliance for Human Needs & Human Rights. Most of the medical personnel at the field hospital are from the University of Miami in the USA.
